As one of the world’s leading insurers, we have a deep responsibility to use our scale and influence to support the communities we serve. That’s why our shared vision; To Be a Good Company is at the heart of everything we stand for, as individuals and as an organisation.
We are exceptionally proud of our charity program that unites the initiatives we undertake across the business, partnering with charities, fundraising, volunteering and raising awareness. The program is structured around four pillars, so each crucial area of focus has the necessary resource to deliver on its ambitions.
For each pillar, we work with a charity partner to develop projects that make a difference in the lives of the people the charity supports. By partnering with organisations across the UK and Europe that have an impact on a local level, we know we can make a meaningful difference.
Helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their full potential through education and development of employability skills, enabling greater access to job roles.
Improving education around prejudice, racism, and biases to increase understanding and acceptance, and drive a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
Raising awareness and the profile of health issues to which employees may relate or have direct experience of, taking steps to improve the care provided.
Increasing education around caring for our planet and, where possible, reduce our environmental impact.
“I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering! The charity is clearly a very important aspect of the community and I was happy to be able to help in a small way.” – TMHCC volunteer at Stepney City Farm, London
“We couldn't manage the site without volunteers, and the TMHCC team made a huge contribution with some big tasks!” - Stepney City Farm, London

At TMHCC, we celebrated this awareness month with thought-provoking and fun activities including drag bingo!
We know our employees have different causes they want to support for personal and moving reasons. We offer several ways to support them in helping other people:
