London, 19 April 2023:
Following the move to the Walkie Talkie building at 20 Fenchurch street, Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI) today announces the opening of a bespoke Broker Lounge based on the 7th floor of the iconic building.
In August last year, the insurer announced its intention to consolidate its London Market operations in one site in the Walkie Talkie. Having successfully completed the move, TMHCCI is now opening its doors to its broker community.
The dedicated Broker Lounge is bright and open with panoramic views across London and has a multi-use purpose with space for everything from formal business meetings to more casual catch ups and social events.
Open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, the Broker Lounge will act as a key access point for brokers to collaborate with teams across the business.
Commenting on the move, Simon Button, Chief Underwriting Officer for TMHCCI’s London Market operation, said, “Our growth over recent years has been outstanding and consistent, resulting in the relocation to the Walkie Talkie building.”
“Following the completion of our office move, we have created a dedicated space for brokers to come meet our people. We hope the Broker Lounge will, in time, become the key meeting point for many of our broker partners to build even stronger relationships for the benefit of our mutual clients.”
Whilst used primarily as a trading floor, the Broker Lounge will also host dedicated broker events hosted by TMHCCI.
